Dear Parents,
This month’s lessons focus on understanding how patience can help us in all situations. While it can be difficult for us to delay gratification, patience really comes down to accepting that God wants only good for us. Even if we do not have exactly what we want or asked for, we can remember that God’s good is in each moment of our lives. When we act on this faith, we help bring our good into manifestation. Reminding our children that God always intends good for them can, on a deep level, support their developing patience.
Support your child at home by practicing reflective listening to help your child express what s/he is feeling. When your child knows that you know how to “read” what is felt, the stress of impatience is reduced
Reinforce this affirmation: I am patience. I can wait, for my good will not be late.

In an early edition of Wee Wisdom an early Unity publication a little boy wrote "Are you afraid of the dark? Isn't God just as much in the dark as in the light? You mustn't be afraid. I'm not afraid 'cause I know God's everywhere and God's good." Our children are clear expressions of God's light and love.
Myrtle Fillmore, Unity's co-founder, defined the Unity approach to our children when she wrote – "Who meddles with the rosebud? What fingers are deft enough to pry open that marvel of folded beauty? We are wise enough to leave it alone to follow the glad law of its own unfolding. But our children! Have we always remembered that they, too, must quicken and unfold through the innate law of their own genius?" Unity of Loudoun County seeks always to allow our children to unfold in God's good timing.
Our Youth Education Celbration time is 10:30 a.m. It run concurent with the Sunday Worshipful Celebration.
