Unity of Loudoun County was approved as a new ministry by the Association of Unity Churches in January 2006. By May a study group was meeting under the leadership of Licensed Unity Teacher Amy George. The co-ministers, Reverends Edna and David Mosher joined the group in July.
In November 2006, Unity of Loudoun County began regular Sunday services at the Catoctin Elementary School, 311 Catoctin Circle SW, Leesburg, Virginia where they continue to meet at this time.
